Gagik Arzumanyan. Personal website

Welcome to my website! I thought to publish here some of the best photos I've taken. Since there are indeed a lot of them, you'll find only a fraction of them here, but they are still the best ones! All of the photos appear in large (but certainly not the original) size, and were only slightly optimized for download. So what you see is exactly what was shot, with absolutely no other modification. Web design is perhaps quite simplistic, but my hope is that the beauty of the photos would not let room to think about things like that.

The camera I used to use was Canon 20D, with original 17-85 EF-S lenses. I have recently shifted to Canon 5D Mark II using several lenses, 16-35 f/2.8L amongst them.

While I have started to post my photos here, I have soon come to realize it is quite time-consuming to keep the site updated all the time. Therefore, I have switched to Picasa for posting newer photos, and maintaining there larger photo collection. You are welcome to check my collection at Picasa, where you'll find much more than what you can see here.

In addition to the photos, I have also started a page where some of the works of great Armenian writer Avetik Isahakyan are posted (in Armenian). The same page contains Armenian translation of The Little Prince, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's most famous novella.

Nighttime Photos

This is perhaps my most favorite section, where you can look for nighttime photos of Venice, London, Rome, Vienna and other cities. All of them were taken with long (sometimes very long!) exposure, using a tripod (and almost always a remote switch as well).

Nature

I've posted here photos that reflect how beautiful the nature surrounding us is... You'll see shots of mountains and landscapes, seas and rivers, animals, flowers, etc.

Architecture

You can find photos from cities like Krakow, Venice, Rome, Vienna and Salzburg in this section.

Churches

This link would take you to photos of churches both in Armenia and other countries.

Miscellaneous

Well, here I have all of the rest of the photos that I failed to categorize into any of the other pages of the website. Kids, puppets, beggars and many other interesting shots are waiting here to excite you.

Family and Friends

I thought some of you may find it interesting to look to my family photos, as well as those friends of mine whom I was fortunate enough to capture with my camera.
